 ** With just four sleeps to go I have this morning woken yet again to a cloudy London but I will not let the skies dictate my mood for the day. I have two things planned; a walk down Portabella Rd market in the morning and then catch up with some old friends in the afternoon, hopefully looking at the revamped Kings Cross station area. ** Portabella Rd is still basically the same as I saw it back in 2009. Lots of cheap jewelry, 2nd hand clothes, antiques of dubious age, coffee shops, food markets etc.  And the travel book shop from a certain film. This looks just like the double breasted leather coat I bought in 1976. Night shots around king's Cross.

Interesting sights along the way

As I wander the countries and cities I am visiting, I come across the weird, the wonderful, the sad, and the laughable. Enjoy my views along the way. Rainbow coloured phone boxes, like good little soldiers, all in a row. Come on everyone, support all people - why? Because we are all people. Statue in Red Lion Square which if you look carefully you will see a pigeon nestled upon his head. Found in a really interesting art shop opposite Covent garden station. Really interesting artist. He/she uses miniature people as the dots. Look closer. The Mathematics Bridge in Cambridge The sun-dial clock in Cambridge Statue that actually is advertising a shop that sells and makes academic gowns in Cambridge.
