22nd September Milan to London.
** You should all know the words to the song by now! "Another suitcase another hall ......." I packed late last night and set out early-ish this morning (6am) for the 2.1 klm walk to the station. I did a practice walk yesterday and I achieved it in about 40 minutes so hopefully this morning, with no distractions, I should be there in time for a coffee and no more than about 30 minute wait for my 55 minute train ride to the airport. I suppose this airport is the equivalent of flying out of Gatwick. ** I actually did the walk it in 25 minutes this time! It's amazing how quick a walk can be when one does not allow anything to sidetrack you. ** After this big stretch of my tour, that has covered 5 countries & 9 cities including, Copenhagen, Berlin, Leipzig , Dresden, Prague, Munich, Zurich, Bern & Milan, I sure am pleased that I fitted in these recharge weeks.
