20th October Essars to Paris

 ** It's moving day once again but this time I am moving with someone else. Mel and I are catching the direct train from Bethune to Gard du Nord, Paris. Once in Paris we will make our way to Matt & Marie's flat. 

Matt ran us through to the station. I (we) travelled first class for the first time, at the grand extra cost of €6.5 together. Lovely large , wide seats, easy to get to charge points, and very large trays. Worth every penny.

On the train to Paris 

** It took 90 minutes to travel from Bethune to Gard du Nord, Paris by train. The flat is 3.3 klm from the station and instead of locating & walking to a Metro Mel & I decided to walk it, or limp it as I tend to do. That took us about 80 minutes. It was nice because I actually got to see Paris, from above ground. Bought some great, slightly spicy, chicken wings just before the end.
