16th October Essars

** Sorry for the late comments for today. I slept very late, and just lay in bed and caught up with news and communication. By the time I came down stairs for breakfast everyone from bèbè upwards. Apparently we were going to travel the 100 klm to the coast. However the coast here means Calais & Dunkirk. As we were being chauffeured all day, I remained so sleepy in the front passenger seat.

** It was quite interesting seeing the white cliffs of Dover from France. I have heard about this sight for so many years but have never experienced it
