** First full day back in London. Spent the morning with my sister who was shopping for tomorrow evening. We also went to see an old family friend whose mother-in-law, married my grandfather when they were both in their 70s.

** We have come down to the river to watch about 150 boats going down the Thames to honour the recently deceased monarch of England. The walk took us past some amazingly interesting buildings. I do intend either tomorrow or Monday to go back and take images of those buildings.

** The boats are yet to come.
