18th September Milan

 ** Hi there & good morning from Milan. This is my very first Italian coffee in 47 years. I arrived at the museum a bit early so I decided to recharge the memories within my taste buds. My memories also tell me to stand at the counter to drink the coffee as it is cheaper  than sitting down but, unlike now, we could not afford the fancy snacks back then.

** Well I have finally found a shop in Milan that only sells bad taste.

"" On my way to the 2nd museum, around lunch time, I stopped off for a beer and a Spaghetti Bolognese. I must say it was way better than anything I could have made & that is my special de Maison. Learned a thing or two about all dente spaghetti 😃

** One of my favourite songs from the sixties was "Pretty Flamingo". Well somebody in Milan took that to heart by creating a small pond In the heart of the city with about a dozen of the birds.

** The monument to Leonardo da Vinci, near to the Galleria, the gothic cathedral, & the plaza Victor Emmanuel.
