15th September: Zurich

** As the museum I want to see today doesn't open until 11am, I decided to do a final  laundromat wash before I grey back to London. This was the first time that a laundromat was within 5 minutes walk from where i  was staying. With the charges for washing & drying I discovered the real cost of things here. It cost 7.5 sw francs for the wash and 6 francs for 20 minute drying. So $21 later ........... Else where in Europe so far,  it has cost me about $10 to $12  for the same exercise.

Definately a case of, if you want to be a small millionaire in Switzerland, you must start off as a big millionaire.

** While waiting for the wash to finish I went next door to find out how much it would cost to get my hair cut. They must have thought I was some big movie actor as they quoted me A$100. Obviously I just smiled and limped away very fast.
