The Guggenheim Museum

Once you enter there is a massive space, something like a hanger for a couple of 747s or 380s depending on one's taste.

The dark metal structures, which by the way appear reminiscent of the great ancient temples at Zimbabwe, the are spirals within one can
 walk.

In my innocence I entered the first one only to find that the wall were getting closer and closer as I spiralled towards the centre, and my claustrophobia started to get worse & worse. I almost had an attack as my breathing became more difficult & erratic

On reflection, once I made it out, I could not decide if the spiral was meant to be a depiction of a birth canal or of a student's mind during an exam.

Some interesting art work in a smaller adjacent space.

One piece raised a lot of smiles. At first glance it appeared to be two lumps of human excrement. Looking closer I noticed two nippple like protrusions and I realised that I was reminded of a Venus figure from the upper paleolithic period in Europe.

The upper image is that of the item on show; the lower image is of the paleolithic Venus.

The museum have a selection of exquisite classic and vintage cars

For those who like to ride a Benz three wheeler bicycle

The 1953 2dr stretched aluminium body Bentley Continental. This is the slightly older sister car to the 4 door version that has personal sentimental value to me and my sisters. Our father owned a 1964 Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

My father's absolutely favourite make of car, period.
This is the Bugatti Type 35 racer

And this is one of the rarest cars in the world, the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic.

Other cars on show

The Alpine ghost Rolls Royce

This 1964 1/2 Mustang and the Cadillac Eldorado following, were some of the cars my dad used to bring home
